King's family
« on: November 07, 2006, 11:32:57 am »
I was wondering has King ever talked about his family in interviews? Like does he have any brothers or sisters, or what his parents are/were like...

Hopefully someone knows something in here...  :gah:

all I know is that he really does hate his grandmother, and his grandmother had his mother out of wedlock which inspired parts of them (or abigail I dont remember), I think he has a brother too. I've been trying to find the interview where I read this

yeah, he has a brother:  Vig(g)o Stig "Evil" Petersen
and since he didn't just appear out of thin air (contrary to popular opinion) he obviously has parents as well. Never heard about the grandma/wedlock story before and it would surprise me to see King spill the beans just like that.

Yes, he has parents, but do we know anything about "them"?

I think King´s father died in 1986/1987 ´cause King wrote in the ABIGAIL LP: "THIS ALBUM IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THE BRAVEST AND NOBLEST MAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN, MY FATHER - R.I.P. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. KING"

King likes to keep his private life pretty private....it is pretty hard to dig up much info on his family

I read an interwiew where King said: "I just wrote the story, that's all I'm going to say about it".

I remember reading a interview a long time ago where King talked about his dad (Maybe grandfather), but I think it was his dad... During the Nazi occupation of Denmark, his Dad (or granddad) was part of the Danish resistance, and underground railroad that helped get Jews safely out of the country.....

Who is Deborah, that's always the first one on King's thanklist in records?
And does King have any wife and/or children?

I don't know if or how many children he might have but I do know that he is currently married to Livia, the female singer on the TPM.

Deborah is his ex-wife, I think. And as far as I know, he doesn't have any kids.

Yeah, that´s right Deborah is his Ex-wife....he mentioned that in an interview I´ve read several years ago! He said that during the divorce he was very angry and aggressive sometimes therefore he wrote some more aggressive and darker parts in his album (I think it was short before VOODOO)....this was also the first album which didn´t mentioned Deborah (by name) - only Thanks to my family....

The grandma story is also new to me...

Hes married to Livia? That lucky little evil man!!! I just never pictured King as the marrying type. Oh what sweet music they will make together..It would be neat to see King do a project OUTSIDE of "metal" or the king persona..Im not talking country or any other junk..but something that maybe wouldnt possibly ever fit the KD/MF mold.. Just a random though I had...

Do you have a link to King being married to Livia? It must have been very resently, because I have never heard of this.
Like, whatever.

It's not like it's spreaded all over the world, we're not talking about Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson here. :gah:

The closest thing there is to that right now would be the Black Rose album.

No, I understand that, but I doubt King told someone in here personally  :P I read most interviews I can find with King, and all the times he`s mentioned her, it`s never come across that their relationship is anything but professional.
Like, whatever.
