Six Feet Under always sounded like King was running out of ideas, to me. That isn't the case, but it actually turned me away from King's music for a while. I didn't buy any KD/MF releases from Spider's Lullabye until Abigail 2 was released (when I immediately went out and got what I had missed!)

I would like to hear Six Feet Under performed live. I might have a different perception of it.

I would say it ranks towards the bottom of my list, along with Since Forever (too depressing).

Until last night, I would have said Emerencia, too but when my fiance requested I play The Puppetmaster, that song blew me away!

Funny yous have said Six Feet Under, I think that song is fine. Actually I'm not that fond of "Spiders Lullabye" the song, but the rest of the album rocks!

As for the worst, its hard for me to say.

I somewhat agree with this, but I wouldn't say they suck, just not as good as some other songs. Maybe something from one of these 2 albums?

You know, it's funny, the Spider's Lullabye album has some recycled riffs on it that used to really annoy me when I first heard them (Room 17 and Eastmann's Cure are the same notes, just slowed down and instruments changed), but the album grew on me. I agree that 6 feet under sounded like a filler song though.....

I would have to say that any song from his new CD is bad.  I never had a problem with any of his songs before until this new one came out.

really? wow.

I think for me the song that I can do without is Six Feet Under also. There are a couple of others that I have always been not so fond of, but at the moment I can't tell you what they are  ::) I suppose it's because I skip them over a lot.

Christmas, I fukken hate the beginning of that song >:( Sounds like some out of tune kid singing. The rest of the song is ok but just ok.... And don´t get me wrong, it still beats the crap out of many other bands songs.

i think that was kind of the point (obviously dosen't mean you have to like it) It is someone singing the classic christmas song on stage during the show

i never listen to Two Little Girls... it's a good idea, but i think it runs too long.

Mommy is also the worst KD ending song... i never listen to it.

You know, come to think of it, I think I always skip those tracks too.
You hear them a few times when you first get the album and thats enough.

I don't see those as songs, but more as transitions. I rarely listen to the intros as well.
But to keep on topic, and to be bolder than anyone yet, I'll take on a classic!
I never liked "The Family Ghost"!!!! I never understood why it was the single and video. I always skip this track!!! By far, the worst song on Abigail, which is also not my favorite album by king!...
But don't flame me, there are lots of songs I don't care for, from everything since the '90s. But when I saw the title of this thread, Family Ghost is the first thing that popped in my mind!

....I imagine the replies..."wtf man!, you call yourself a fan?"...
As of October 2017, number of years I've been a coven member, waiting for the dvds: 12

I always listen to the intros, it seems to make the starting song more exciting.
But all these "transitions" as you call them I do skip usually.

I'll probably catch some grief for this, but my least favorite song is 'so sad' from the puppet master. I think it's a good song, but being primarily a love ballad it loses something after about two or three hundred listens, especially when compared with the rest of the album. I do think that it does what it's supposed to do within the context of the story- it's pretty, it's sad, the vocals are good, the guitars work well, and I like that the song was originally written as a farewell to his cat Ghost. I've just never been one for ballads.
Lady, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store....

that was the point

but anyway, Hm.. least favorite song? If we're talking MF and KD here, I'd probably have to say most of "Dead Again".... For some reason I feel that was a rough time for king and you can almost smell the depression in every note and line he says... he just doesn't sound exciting as he used to there, he doesn't sound like himself...

But hmm.. Least favorite King Diamond song? Probably Mansion In Sorrow or something else from abigail II.. the only 2 songs I pay attention to on that album are The Storm, More Than Pain, The Wheel Chair, and Mommy

if more bands could be that

Actually I'm pretty sure King didn't even write this song..... Andy did.

"Cross Of Baron Samedi", is one of the worst.

Really great solo's though, but the rest of the song feels really un-creative in a way.

Behind These Walls...
we get it already what's going on...kind of annoying. Actually I like his annoying parts of certain songs but this one off the Eye gives me a headache.
