I just made a playlist of the songs voted here and I´m having a really good time  it feels different to listen to the songs together separate from the albums, none of them is near to being bad songs.
Even thought I normaly say I prefer Mercyful Fate over King Diamond, I have to admitt that Mercyful Fate has some half good songs and one bad song while King Diamond hasn´t. The Uninvited Guest is the wrost song ever sang by King, that kind of high pitched vocals are kind of annoying, and the instrumental parts are not good either, also Sold My Soul is a song that can be creative and different to other King Diamond songs but I think it´s only half-good.

If we included MF songs, I would have to pick "Mission Destroy Aliens" I hate that song! It would be a great Misfits type song, but it just is so not MF material to me. I am really glad i didn't hear this song first, I might have missed out on the entire KD/MF experience.

Maybe you didn´t notice a song called M.D.A in Return Of The Vampire, i think it´s great, unusual for mercyful yes, as it was from Bratts, I wonder if the singer on bratts used to sing high pitched as King.

I never cared for MDA until I started to mess around with the rhythm guitar part.
It really is a cool and unusual song.

I have a hard time deciding what could be the worst mf song. Surely something off Dead Again.

Ok if MF songs are included I could easily pick my least favorite. It would be "9".

"Cross Of Baron Samedi", is one of the worst.
This is my absolute favorite KD song . . .
"Father, I'm about to sin."  Fantastic.

I guess I'm weird then...I don't feel he has a 'worst' song.  Though I do prefer some more than others.

My least favourite song in the entire discography is "A Secret" from Voodoo. It's a good song though.

I have to agree also Raven, I think I have always had a song that was not IMO up to par with the rest on an album, but I can't say it's a terrible song. Just one MF song that I mentioned that I can totally live without, although I still give it a rare listen. Hahaha, I guess I can't live w/o it afterall then huh?  :gah:

the worst one for me is the return of the vampire off the album by the same name, the one with lars ulrich drumming.
Sleep eludes me
As rain deludes me
About its intent
To stop for Lent

wow, really? I absolutely LOVE that song, both versions of it. But then I have a thing for vampires(not the people who pretend to be one, the moive character type ones) too so, that figures.

Hrmmm...

I don't dislike one track from Fatal Portrait to the Eye. Except maybe Tea... I don't know, the chorus actually annoys me... and it's kind of boring. But the part where it gets fast is cool. I was shocked to see someone didn't like "Behind these walls", I think it's fantastic! "All the birds are singing, but Madeline can't hear their song... screams of pain in the niiiight!" I love it!

Spider's lullabye... I usually Skip six feet under. I like every track off of that.

I don't really like Graveyard, Abigail 2 or Into the Unknown at all. I like some songs off Graveyard and ITU, but none off Abigail 2...

So Sad is kinda bleh... so is Christmas. That intro just annoys me. :/

I'm not really that fond of "So Sad" either. Its OK though.
But I don't really like slow songs in general.
I was surprised that it was chosen as a live song to play.

another song i don't like is No more Me... to me it has failed on his own intentions.

it's funny how one of us can feel a song is lacking while another thinks the same song is great. I think 'no more me' is fantastic....I hear brutality, agony, helplessness, and thanks to the keyboard part, a bit of insanity too. I love how his eyes are in two different heads looking back towards eachother. that's one of the first songs from The Puppet Master that I play for people after first telling them about the album. personal taste in a funny thing, eh?
Lady, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store....
