it is for me as well, well... kinda!
because i can see how much they all have improved on playing from Dont Break The Oath and Melissa to In The Shadows....
there is alot of riffs and stuff from In The Shadows that are actually damn hard to play and make sound the right way.

i love both reunion and Pre-split!

And for those reason I prefer post reunion Fate. :D

I prefer the pre-split, is more from heart the muic, even if they're no so perfect in music, they rock hard in those times with those raw riffs and staff......
Keep on heavy

It's always interesting to see peoples opinion of the post 80's MF albums. I can hear a continuation of DBTO in ITS and so on into DEAD AGAIN which has some great Hank Sherman riffs. Crossroads! my fav from this album, heavy and 100% what you wanna hear from MF.

I agree with you. Crossroads is a perfect track!
I think Dead Again is very underrated album. In my opinion it's a bit better overall than Into The Unknown and In The Shadows, even I do like all those three a lot. However the best MF albums from the 90's are Time and 9.

The atmosphere of Dead Again album = Brilliant

I think that all the "new" MF albums sound to polished and "americanized" and the sound of the first 2 is missing. I love "the Old Oak" but think that Dead Again is pretty ok, Banshee is cool.

I think Dead Again is an incredible album.  That album led me buy every other MF and KD album.  I love THEM all.

I think Dead Again is one of the best Mercyful Fate albums. Torture(1629) is one of my favorite songs. Anybody know if it had a tour like 9 did?

Dead Again worship time, upping an old thread.

aah, with the re-release on vinyl today from Metal Blade i have been rediscovering this excellent record.

I actually like it more than i have ever before.

The production is really great on this one. Lot's of power and the whole band is on fire. King sounds amazing...as allways.
And all songs are killer...Banshee and Crossroads do stand out, but ask me again tomorrow and it will have changed.

Such a killer release!  \m/

Well I have also grown more fond of it than I did back in 08. It is a great record, and those solos! They are damn breathtaking! Mike was a goddamn excellent addition to an already amazing band! No wonder that Denner himself said that Mike should be his replacement back in the days

Dead Again is a great album. It nips at the heels of "In the Shadows" for best MF release of the 90's.

Dead again was an album i really enjoyed... for the more modern MF  releases.  songs like lady who cries mandrake  sucking you blood and banshee were awesome  listening to the songs now i still feel the same groove and heavy attitude i felt when it was released....
