I USED to have:

Mercyful Fate: Curse of the Pharaohs
                     Time
                     and 9

King Diamond: Fatal Portrait
                   "Them"
                   The Dark Sides
                   Conspiracy
                   Abigail-In Concert '87
                   The Spider's Lullabye
                   House of GOD

And how many times did I transfer my lps and CDs to cassette? Many a' times...

For MF, you're missing Into the Unknown (Metal Blade), Return of the Vampire (Roadrunner) and The Beginning (US and Poland versions). You seem to have the rest covered!

I thought they'd stopped at House of God, and yet you have Abi 2! Really think this is the last one!

I have the entire cassette collection up to 9 and VooDoo. Two copies of each album. To the best of my knowledge this is as far as it goes in the U.S. For the record, My friend Budha died and told his family that I was to have his KING collection. See my first thread I ever posted on here way back when. :king:

Yeah, but it makes sense not to release the new titles. Cars all have cd players now, and no one uses a '80s classic cassette walkman anymore!

Even Knowing that CD´s, Blue Rays disc and this and that are better... A vintage collection of LP´s & Cassettes always nice to have, I mean some in my old times even the record stores don´t sell CD´s just cassettes and vynil. ... The first time I heard KD was in 1989, a friend of mine sold me some LP´s ( Iron Maiden, Slayer, etc ) and give his KD cassette collection for free... since then I´m a huge fan...

ACtually CDs aren't really better than LPs. Vinyls have better sound than a CD a CD was better because it was smaller and easier to transport

Cheaper to what? Cassettes and lps? When CDs when first introduced, both cassettes and lps were around $10. CDs have rarely dropped in prices unless you purchase used ones. The price never fell back. We were told they were gonna, but never did...

most of my cds i paid $10 - $15...
but it's hard to find a lp for less than $ 20, even new releases as the pic evil from GH metallica, it's $24 on ebay

Yeah, but LP´s are no released generally as Limited editions for us as collectors,,, soy that why is more expensive.  Even so, I thnk the price is not so high. Take for reference the new remasters on LP limited to 500 copies y got them all 4 for just $99.96 usd. I thnk is a good price for a limited handnumbered version.

Other important fact is that not all the metal fans have a turntable these days...

I agree too. If they released cassettes today with just a few collectors in mind, they would lose a lot of money! For all we know, there might just not be cassette plants anymore! Vinyl isn't a problem, that's why we have so many new releases available!
I'd love to have Don't Break the Oath on 8-track. I doubt anyone will ever release it!  :D

Here in Denmark CD's and Vinyls are the same price unless you buy new vinyls. Like the Re-release of Master Of Puppets. Also depends on what shop you go too. I buy the old and used Vinyls at a store where i give from 1.70 $ per vinyl to way beyond 20$ they have all kinds of cool and awesome stuff.

Damn i love being born in Denmark
