all the remasters sound different than the originals

The only one i found to have a significant difference was TSL. Sorry i shall clerify.  I didnt notice much diff in Voodoo.   ( maybe i didnt listen to the original enough) and i found hardly any difference at all with the HOG remaster.  I cant say one way or the other bout Graveyard cause that one was the only one i couldnt order cause it is out of print.

Voodoo is one of my favorite KD albums so for me there is a difference. The drums and bass standout more than they did on the original and the guitars sound a bit cleaner.  Overall the entire bottom end has a different sound imo.

I totally agree with that... Voodoo has definitely an improvement... all the remaster's are better in my onw opinion.

Love this album , KING DIAMOND is awesome...I'm really looking forward to another new album now more than anything, and of course, a TOUR!....hoping your back is 200% by the time a new album is out King! :king:

i think they got all the remasters spot on from a sound perspective, my only gripe is TSL cover with a pic of Kings face on the spiders back, that IMHO looks wrong, maybe had they used an inverted cross on the back and made it look like the spiders natural pattern on the abdomen; then i would have been much more impressed

but that's being a bit nit-picky, overall the sound is much better than the originals, i love HOG the most and can hear big improvements on the remaster, the bass is way better sounding, the guitars have more balls and the bass drum is thumping...for me the enhancements on HOG have made that album even better

Well i ought to be thrilled. But honestly, apart from some extra material i don't see any point in buying these.
I also don't really get why they re-realese them already. They are not very hard to come by and the production on them are fine as it is.

Very interesting, the recordings of the bonus videos were previously avaliable as bootlegs, with poor quality... how did theese videos became 'official' ?

i got both HOG and Vodoo remasters and they sound crystal clear but noticed theres hardly any bass compared to when I hear the originals I put it in a buddys car with some kick ass subs and had to crank the bass extremely high to get even a small little thump whats up with that?
