A vocal cover/homage to the KING
« on: November 29, 2010, 02:21:02 pm »
Hail all,

I've been a KD/MF fan for over 22 years. I had the chance to see them live twice in Greece where I reside - best gigs ever, amazing performers.
King has been a major influence in the music I write, play and perform - never again will an album like "THEM" be recorded.

I do some amateur singing and wanted to share the following "vocal cover" with you, a homage to one of the best performers/metal icons ever.

Long live the KING,
Thanos

I actually enjoyed it. Your vocals are very doomy sounding and works well with the song in my opinion. You should record a few more and post them! :king:

Glad you liked it, it's always good fun singing KD/MF songs. I'll try a few more when I get the time.

That opening riff in Church of St Anne is just ... hellish, best riff I heard in years.

Thanks everybody, nice to know you had fun listening to it 'cause I certainly had fun recording it.
I'll do another one when I get a moment of peace.

That riff in the beginning ... damn.

PS. To my greek brother ; I'm from northern Greece.
