My wife, whom I got into King Diamond way back when we first got together ages ago, didn't recognize him (she'd never seen him without his makeup on) it was only when he did the high pitched thing that she clued in  lol
Haha what about when they said and showed his name on the screen?

She wasn't looking at the screen when the name came up, she'd just entered the room after the name was shown.

Man, I loved this new interview with King. I lol'd when he did the random scream. I never before seen the outside of his house, and It looks really nice, with the shading of the trees in his yard and all. Thanks for posting!  :king:

Ah the mighty Arthur Brown. If he was mentioned, I'll definitely have to watch this. That's not a name you hear to frequently anymore, especially on T.V.  \m/

That was the best part of the whole episode! (of course)  :king:
I'm so glad Sam included King and is a fan! King was really funny...thanking Tipper for helping him become more famous by adding him to the "Filthy 15".  :fingers:

I loved the part when he joked about going to the grocery store wearing his makeup and sneaking around the aisles...
Then he does one of his famous high vocals...Sam laughs and King says, "I probably just scared the hell out of my cats?!"
Haha!

It would be great to have a Mercyful Fate/King Diamond "Behind the Music".  :icon_wink:

I think just about everyone on that list, and everyone that got those labels put on their albums thanked her. I remember seeing those labels when they were first used, and it did make me want to buy the albums even more, thinking they must be good twisted shit on them if those labels were put on them. I know if there were two albums side by side, one had the label and the other didn't I would get the one with it over the other. And not once did they ever tell me I couldn't buy the album, really made it that much funnier.

So being put on the filthy 15 gave King Diamond a wonderful lease on life. I remember the Rolling Stone mag had printed those. Funny, I've heard 'em all!

Livia told me King is 5'10" (177.8cm).  I believe Sam is about 6'4" (193cm), and it looked as if he had more than 6 inches on King when he first entered the house. :slookl:
