who is the backing band?

king seems almost reborn. he seems to have more energy and really seems to be enjoying it more. i guess thats what a near death experience will do?

great to see king playing again! METAL.

Who knows, maybe since his hiatus a lot of people are desperate to see him, and if it had been announced the show would have been overly crowded? Just speculation.

I know I would have driven out there from SoCal to see him in Dallas.

What about a new album?? There's gotta be something King's hiding up his sleeve...?

Its quite novel to see King performing without make-up. Kinda cool.
On youtube there is also a clip of them performing The Family Ghost.

Hey Everyone,

This was a charity event created by Nomad Recording Studio. This was actually the 5th annual showcase.
It benefited the Blue Star Connection charity.

I did put up an advert on the KD & MF Facebook announcing it, however, no one knew that King was going to perform anything. He was there to present the awards, but hey... he's known for liking to surprise :)

After the presentation, King played The Family Ghost, Burn, and Evil, with Michael Harris on guitar, Neil Brincks on bass, J.T. Longoria on guitar, and Matt Thompson on drums.
You all know Matt Thompson.
You also know J.T., he's recorded King's vocals for the last however many albums.
The other guys are all local musicians and personal friends.

Shaolin Death Squad, the band Matt also plays in performed as well and if you haven't checked them out yet, you really should. They are awesome!
Working in the backgrounds :)

I knew you guys had something hidden there! Right from when you announced that Matt would play with his other band i thought ''why do they suddently announce something for the side projects?'' Well my thought were true! :D You guys sould do that in Denmark too i would love it!
