"Arto Lehtinen:

I met King Diamond at the Sweden Rock festival and he said that you spent all of your money on the stage and its construction and the visual things for Sweden Rock and Hellfest, right?

Andy LaRocque:

Yes that's right, we spent most of the money we got from the festivals to do the production and there were a lot of crew guys to be paid and all that. But we said okay it's now or never, so it's going to be really good and of course we have most of the production for the next couple of festivals and tours for the next couple of years.  So of course it's like a good investment in the future. But that's right most of the money we actually spent on the production."

This is pure dedication right here.  :king:
That's why I got testy when someone here had the nerve to bitch about the playlist.

awesome interview.

makes me sad they can't all record/jam together and have to rely so much on computers and drum programming, but when there is that much distance involved what can you do?

andy is fucking amazing.

Yeah Andy is a cool dude , I wish they would all get together and jam before they write the new album! This next album has got a lot riding on it.

In my opinion that setlist sucked there were a few cool songs in it but that's about it. There were two polls on this site about what songs we would want to hear live , shame that some of them did not make it .

Don't get me wrong. Critique and debate the setlist all you want. I was referring to a topic that was called "Why are certain songs being played live in 2012," or something like that. Specifically the tone of the post and the excessive use of punctuation (!!!!!!!??????????) made it look like typical troll droppings. Maybe I was being too sensitive to that, but I don't want anybody trolling The King, baby.  :king:

Great interview. I only hope that they make a killer album after a break this long. I was little disappointed with GMYSP, the music is just kind of generic to me, and maybe a bit rushed. This shouldn't be the case of the next effort...
