chicken soup....I don't know what it is exactly, but that stuff has amazing powers of convalescence. I wouldn't have made it this far without it.  :P

Chagosomar and I will be leading the cheers here in Austin when you're here.  \m/
Lady, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store....

Also, he was so focused on remembering to hydrate throughout the show, that he completely skipped over playing At The Graves, and launched into announcing the medley :D
That really sent the rest of the band scrambling, haha :)
:) It can happen! So this time there was a little change in the set and you played the medley before At The Graves? Or did the band start to play At The Graves despite what King said? (Sorry for silly questions! )
Anyway it's nice to hear that King is getting better! Thanks for replying! :fingers:

People are already trying to sell the longsleeve halloween shirt on ebay for over $100!

Yeah thats pretty typical ive noticed in the metal world lately with that sorta thing record flippers and such. I wouldnt mind if it was any of the shirts that had dates were available on the webstore as leftovers but damn, that long sleeve looked amazing imo. Id pay a bit for that shirt but not $100.

Anyway glad that the rest of the dates are happening and that King is healthy enough to perform. I'm dealing with  the cancellation better after a few days, and now I am eagerly awaiting the new album and hopefully a tour associated with that. In the mean time i think ill try to pick up a copy of house of god. I listened to it once way back didnt really care for it too much, but upon recent sample listen it sounded great. So it'll be like a new album for me.

Hope all you diamondbangers in Texas have a great time, wish I could make it! :king:

Yeah, I've seen the video on Youtube! I noticed that Grandma went out with the tea tray when the song "Tea" was almost finished! Clearly Jodi didn't expect that and had to wear her costume in a hurry! :D:

I just got home about an hour ago from seeing King,  what a great show and King's voice was absolutely fantastic. The show was worth the wait so sad that it is over but I have great memories to dream of.

From what I can tell, the Fun Fun Fun Fest is being webcast, you should be able to stream King Diamond's set, as well as Priest and whoever else you wish.

Do not hope this, because  the European festivals were in stream and king did not stream,

WOW! One more show to go. I would like to give a big thank you to King Diamond, Livia Zita, Andy LaRocque, Mike Wead, Matt Thompson and Pontus Egberg. GREAT FUCKING TOUR! Jodi you rock! The crew, Bravo! Thanks to Diamond Entertainment and Metal Blade for giving King Diamond the solid ground and promotion they so rightfully deserve. It's been a tough and long road for the
Mercyful Fate and King Diamond legacy. Can't wait for all the new things to come.

King you're an inspiration to us all - you remind me to never give up!

To Jess and the Ancient Ones, you are a very solid metal band and your sound was spot on, I
will definitely catch one of your shows again.

And to the King Diamond fans, it was awesome to see all of you in the masses.

Always Heavy  \m/

This tour put many bands on notice, this is how it's done. King Diamond took back his rightful place as one of, if not the best touring metal bands in the world. I sadly,  only was able to make one show, I won't make that error again, try for at least 3 next tour. It was an honor to watch the master at work, face melting, ass kicking, honor. Now for the new album and another US tour. Keep the momentum going!!!

the Austin show was fantastic. I've seen King five times, and as good as the shows always are, this one was the best yet. as an added bonus, the only traveling I had to do was walk down the hill from the bar where I go nearly every day. this was the first Funfunfun fest I've attended in the event's history, and I'll keep coming every year King plays. thanks for an awesome show!

I had been thinking that this tour couldn't have been a better set list/show unless it were longer. I thought I'd getsnough of a KD fix by after the Dallas show I found myself wishing I could've gone to Austin too!!! I didn't find out till about 11pm central that there was a pod cast either!  :(
