I always wonder what King Diamond thought about this artist from the 1960's.

If he ever even seen the artist or was influenced at all. I think for it's time it was pretty ahead of it's time.

I'm sure King is very aware of this guy. If nothing else, then as an influence on Alice Cooper. (There's a relatively recent clip on youtube, of Arthur Brown performing "Fire" as a guest with Alice in London).

There were some crazy, outrageous guys on the London scene in the 60's, with facepaint and what have you.

As i recall, Ozzy was also into Arthur Brown. He covered the "Fire" track, some years back.

Arthur Brown is one of his most important influences along with David Byron. Googling for the interview I read that in right now, haha
