Logistics of rehearsing and recording?
« on: February 16, 2016, 12:52:28 PM »
As far as I'm aware King Diamond is a pretty international band - King, Matt, and Livia live in Texas, while I believe Andy and Mike (and Pontus too?) are based in Sweden.

How exactly does it work when the band meet to rehearse for upcoming tours? Do the Swedes come to the US to rehearse for the North American tours, and then vice verse when they play in Europe?

How does it work for recording albums? Looking at the notes in the booklets it seems to more recent ones are recorded in both Texas and Sweden. Do the members record their respective parts where they live?

Just interested, as it seems the logistics might be quite difficult when the band live so far apart.

When they are play in Europe, king flies to denmark and rehearse and when the play in USA, Mike, Andy and Pontus come to USA and rehearsal in Dallas, and when they record a album they record the guitars in their houses with some demos and the next album king will record his voice in his house because he has a studio in his house, only the drums will be record in the studio
